Doug, a professional musician for over twenty-one years, is the backbeat of Nightrain. Together with his brother Rome, they amaze audiences with one of the best rhythm sections heard.

Along with "Papa" Don, Doug was also a pioneer in the rebirth of Beale Street and enjoys teaching drummers his views on "blues rhythms".

This Memphis music veteran helped start the rebirth of Beale Street in Memphis Tennessee, home of the Blues. His special brand of "Southern" music ranges from Delta Blues to Boogie Blues. As an international entertainer, he has performed for audiences of all ages.

As his way of helping to preserve the future of the Blues, Don offers workshops to aspiring musicians and songwriters.

Rome McMinn Bass/Vocals

Rome started playing on Beale Street with his dad and brother in the legendary "Rum Boogie Band" at the age of fifteen. His ever-growing talent has made him one of the most sought after bass players. He was born to be a bassist.

Rome also enjoys sharing his love for music by participating in workshops.
